On October 30, 2020, Ireland’s Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth published their report Commission of Investigation of Mother and Baby Homes. Their Prime Minister formally apologized on January 13, 2021 and put forward an action plan to support those affected by forced adoption in Ireland.
